Liquid cooling & heat exchangers

Efficient cooling for high heat loads

Liquid cooling and heat exchangers are used to efficiently dissipate large amounts of heat from electronics and high power density systems. By utilising a circulating coolant, heat can be removed significantly more efficiently than with air cooling, making the technology ideal for critical and high-performance applications.

Swelex offers liquid cooling and heat exchange solutions for industrial, commercial and advanced electronics applications where high reliability, stable temperature control and long life are required.

How does liquid cooling work?

Liquid cooling is based on the circulation of a cooling medium - such as water or specialised cooling fluids - through cooling blocks, hoses or ducts in direct contact with heat-generating components. The heated fluid is then directed to a heat exchanger or radiator, where the heat is released to the environment before being recirculated.

This method provides:

  • High heat transfer capacity
  • Even and controlled temperature
  • Reduced risk of overheating in compact electronics

Advantages of liquid cooling & heat exchangers

  • Highly efficient heat dissipation at high power levels
  • Handles high power density where air cooling is not enough
  • Stable temperature control for sensitive electronics
  • Reduced noise levels compared to heavy air cooling
  • Enables compact and high-performance construction
