Our history
- How three companies became one

Swelex AB is the result of a successful merger of the three companies: Stig Wahlström Elektronik AB, SATCO Komponent AB and Jolex AB. This is our history - where together we have delivered the market's leading technical solutions for over a century.

Stig Wahlström AB is formed with the ambition to offer Swedish industry the best possible technical solutions.

In order to broaden its range of components and its customer base, SATT set up a subsidiary called SATTCO.

The staff at SATTCO buys the company from its listed owner and the name is changed to SATCO Komponent AB.

 

Jolex AB is founded and offers a wide range of EMC and shielding products, as well as thermal products.

 

Stig Wahlström AB is divided into three separate companies and Stig Wahlström Elektronik AB is formed that year.

SATCO Komponent AB is merged into Stig Wahlström Elektronik AB.

Jolex AB is merged into Stig Wahlström Elektronik AB.

With three companies united under one roof, we welcome the new era by changing our name to Swelex AB.

  • Swelex is part of Addtech, which also means that we are part of the Group's long-term development work in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). For us, CSR means that we take responsibility for sustainable development regarding shareholders, employees, society and the environment. We are also committed to issues relating to working conditions and ethics - by constantly striving to become stronger in these areas, we also become a better choice for you and your business.

  • General terms and conditions

    • Sales are only made to companies authorised by us and against invoice.
    • Payment terms 30 days after credit approval.
    • Prices are exclusive of VAT.
    • Currency adjustment, in the event of an exchange rate deviation on the invoice date of more than +/- 2.00 %, the price will be adjusted by 80.00 % of the difference.
    • In the event of late payment, penalty interest will be charged from the due date until full payment is received by us.
    • Prices are FCA according to Combi-/Incoterms 2020 excluding packing and packaging.
    • Freight and packing with accompanying shipping documents are charged according to our current tariff.
    • We use Schenker for domestic deliveries, international freight with TNT or Fedex. Other shipping solutions can be offered at an additional cost.
    • We have a minimum order value of SEK 2500.
    • Otherwise, the Swelex General Terms and Conditions 2024 apply.
